FTN Episode 141 – Perfection is the Enemy of Good
Episode 141 is here, download it now! Tournament and Hobby talk all in the same place. Say it ain’t so!
Yo everyone,
We get pretty deep on this episode with a couple of heavy topics bracketed by our normal banter. Perfection being the enemy of the good is not a new topic but we specifically get into how it effects our hobby time.
Please let us know if you’ve experienced anything like we talk about here and how you’ve gotten over it. The audio gets a little wonky in the second half. Its not bad at all but I apologize in advance.
Thanks for listening Please let us know what you think.

Each episode will be about an hour long. This ideally gives you something neat to listen to on your way to work, or on the way back home. Maybe you can even listen while you are painting or modeling!
Alternatively you can subscribe via your own iTunes, and it should update our podcast when we post a new one.
If you like this sort of chatter we also do a live webshow every Monday at 10pm EST. You can find those posted over on the FTN Google + Page. The rebroadcast is over on our YouTube page.

Some very good advice in this episode that I need to hear over and over again. Cursed with this stupid perfectionist bug, like many others I’m sure. I expect every mini to turn out incredible, without the practice/experience to make that happen. I jump around from project to project (which isn’t terrible, in and of itself) but never end up finishing any of them! So frustrating!
I have the same problem. I find that once I commit to a list and have an event deadline, all that hobby scrambled eggs comes together into a good omelet. 🙂
