11th Edition Codex Space Marines – The Reviews Are In!

We are so back, baby.  And so are the Space Marines.  So sorry for the extended time between episodes.  We have had a LOT of travel and I hope you’ve been able to check out some of our tournament coverage on other channels.

Getting it out of the way in the post, but we address it later in the show, the first born marines are gone  gone gone.  Moved to legends.  Is it good.  Is it bad?  Ultimately I think most folks are going to be ok with it.  It does absolutely suck to lose some vehicles people have been building, painting and buying but I am not sure how many first born marines were still on the table at most events.  In home games you can use whatever you want still AND the game published a certifiable list of proxies.  Not sure that has been done before.

Other than that, we cover some stand out units and detachments.  Just like the Ork dex there are a LOT of detachments. It’s hard to completely weigh them without points but we can get an idea of the ones that look fun to play.

It does look sort of modular and sort of like thick blocks of marines may be the standard but we will see!  I am looking forward to getting termiantors back on the table again.  – some folks will say they never left.
