FTN Episode 225 – LVO Recap and Thousand Sons Review Part 2
We are back fresh off the heels of the Las Vegas Open. It is a wonderful event and I’ll be back next year! Can’t wait. In this episode we do little recap from the Games Workshop Studio Preview and get deeper into the Thousand Sons Codex.
Hey guys,
Thanks for being patient as we worked through some technical difficulties with the feed last week. I hope it’s resolved.
We talk about the upcoming Codexes – Necrons, T’au and Drukari. We don’t know the exact order but we did get to see a preview of a Necron Cryptek. This all up for viewing on the GW community site. I highly recommend you bookmark that page if you haven’t already.
We focus on the 1k Sons Rubric infantry in this episode and just how durable and ‘tricky’ they can be. The get an extra plus 1 to their save against damage 1 weapons. That may not seem powerful but there are a LOT of damage 1 weapons out there being commonly taken in matched play games.
The Finishing Moves segment is sponsored by Frontline Gaming. Their new mats are now hot off the presses and getting ready to be shipped. Please check them out, even if you already have a game mat. Their new styles are very impressive.
