Skari has been digging the Blackstone Fortress recently so we wanted to have him on to talk about it.  Are you playing this board game?  Fancy miniatures and a campaign style experience really make it attractive to me.

In the middle of the episode we emphasize the need write down your paint recipe for bases and models.  Coming back to a project you’ve had sitting on the shelf for years can be a real problem if you can’t remember the colors you chose.  Write down what steps you took and the colors you used.

Past that we talk a little bit about how to make up for not remembering using oil washes.  Remember – care and cleaning of your brushes is a LOT different.  The materials involved in oil washes are decidedly more toxic that the acrylic paints you’re used to working with.
